ELECTRONICS BUYER ( UK )
We require a skilled buyer with experience in purchasing electronics components and ancillary items to join us as an additional member of our procurement and sourcing team. The role will encompass the purchase of a wide range of commodities ( including PCB level parts, plastic mouldings, castings, machined components ), which in turn gives rise to the management of a global supply chain. Not only does the role encompass the procurement of materials, but also the acquisition of material costs as part of our sales quotation process.
The successful individual must be a dynamic, motivated individual, and must be capable of operating in a fast paced, customer driven environment. Previous procurement experience is considered essential, and experience of the electronics market sector would be a distinct advantage. OPERATIONS MANAGER ( HONG KONG )
We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to take charge of business operations in our Hong Kong office. Given the inevitable increase in business in the Far East, we require an individual to be based in Hong Kong to to take charge of manufacturing operations in this part of the world.
The successful individual must be a motivated individual with a proven track record in operational management. Initially the position will involve the management of a small team of people, however we anticipate that this will rise steadily over the next year or so. Previous experience of contract manufacturing would be considered essential, as would experience of the Far Eastern supply chain particularly in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Dongguan province. Additional skills such as the ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin would be considered a distinct advantage. SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ( HONG KONG )
We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to manage and develop our Far Eastern supply chain. The post is Hong Kong based, but would encompass suppliers all over the Far East, with the majority of them currently residing in Shenzhen and Dongguan province.
The successful individual must be a motivated individual with a proven track record in supply chain management. Initially the position focus heavily on the development of new suppliers and the construction of a strong supply chain covering a number of key commodities ( Electronics, plastics, machined and turned parts etc. etc. ). Additional skills such as the ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin would be considered a distinct advantage.
