Chinese Facility Expansion Planned

As a result of the continued growth of Kingfield's' offshore supply chain, a decision has been taken to strengthen the team based in the company's Hong Kong Offices. Dave Bailey, Operations Director states, "Our offices are based only a 90 minute drive from the Chinese factory so it makes excellent sense to strengthen the team in this geographical area where technical and professional staff are readily available."
By the end of 2007 we are planning to increase the team by a further 4-5 indigenous mandarin speaking staff, comprising mainly of buyers and engineers with the sole purpose of monitoring/managing our Asia-Pac supply chain for our customers. They will be responsible for managing a range of commodities from pcb assembly through to castings, machined parts, cable and loom assembly, bare pcbs and plastics.
I will be visiting our Hong Kong offices in late July 2007 to set the strategic plans in motion with our staff already there in order to facilitate the planned expansion.
